Student Representative Grosskreutz reported on the council's food drive and planning for next fall's homecoming.

Updated the board on Long-Term Budget planning process and her meetings with staff members at all buildings.
The American Historical Association has award Everest's Oral History Program the Beveridge Family Teaching Prize recognizing excellence and innovation in K-12 history teaching. Paul Aleckson will accept the award on January 8. Staff members who have been instrumental in the success of the program are Nancy Gajewski, Glenn Olstad, Travis Greil, Gregory Peterson, Patty Mayo,
Mark Bohlman, Mary Ann Gleisner, Tom Grossklaus, and Chad Thompson.
The DCE Junior High student council and jazz band's anti-bullying video was viewed by the board.
John Glynn’s senior high compact equipment class was written up in the trade magazine, Compact Equipment, Now That’s Class.
Applications of three seniors have been selected for submission to the state selection committee for a Kohl Scholarship. They are Adam Gewiss, Laura Hill, and Hannah Weir.
Evergreen Elementary students, concerned over difficult economic times, raised $2;000 and each class adopted two children from the
Salvation Army Giving tree to purchase gifts for. They were selected as Channel 9's class of the week.
